This is my first hobby grade blaster so I won't pretend to be an expert or claim to know how good the Kirin is relative to similar blasters. I'm not into competitive foam blasters and always just enjoy plinking. The looks of the Kirin immediately caught my eye and after spending a couple hours watching reviews I couldn't resist. The combination of the weight, finish of the plastic, action of the bolt and magazine smoothness honestly gives me the nostalgia and joy similar to holding the Nerf Longshot as a kid for the first time. Putting it together was a breeze, the only thing I had to figure out myself was to switch the internal catch on the bolt assembly as well as the external metal clip to make the shells eject from the left. I also filed the metal edges of the bolt to be rounded after the first few rounds as I noticed it is sharp enough to eat into the plastic. Apart from those two minor things, I plan to replace the keyring clips to something that doesn't jiggle and make noise. Its not the end of the world but if something happens to come loose on the inside I don't want the sound of the keyrings to mask it. Arrived on time and without any damage. Thanks Dean!

I got my parcel with this blaster in it this week, and it already blows away every other I have bought before. Among my more serious blasters, I have a Dart Zone Pro Mk 1, a Worker Terminator with maximum capacity upgrades, two Worker Prophesies with one maxed with a 28N spring, 250mm metal barrel, and metal oversized plunger tube, and the Worker Harrier with all barrel and spring options. The Kirin outperforms all but the 28N sprung Prophecy on raw muzzle velocity, but outperforms even that on distance and accuracy. It's a bit awkward to prime with the 2.2 spring, but easier than the 28N Prophecy. Keen to see the short dart upgrade kit for this, although the shell ejection has a pretty good 'feel good' factor, and allows fiddling with things like modified darts with ink packs in the tips, that normal mags and chambers will not take. Very pleased I bought this. The old terminator and even the Prophecy are all alone in the corner, crying because no one wants to play with them anymore.

These are awesome blasters and a total beast, it's accurate n hits hard n lots of fun, side not about the FPS is that these numbers are if Ur using qwk EPP darts worker n af darts hit about 50fps lower but if your looking for a blaster that will give you consistent numbers inside a range of only 7fps this is it, I use this over my harrier BAIZE n swift n currently own two, 1 for 200fps games n my other for 300fps and best part is scopes n red dot optics actually work to a grouping of less the 15cm at 50ft 10/10 epic blaster
